Are you free on Saturday 15th September?

Hi Manfred,
Are you free on Saturday 15th September? I’m emailing to invite you to take part in a special day of action - either in your local area or from the comfort of your home!
Loads of people like you have shared your photos of excessive plastic packaging and said that you’re fed up with the pointless plastic that comes with your weekly shop. Sometimes it’s possible to avoid plastic packaging, but a lot of the time supermarkets don’t give us a choice.
It’s time supermarkets were faced with the responsibility of dealing with the pointless plastic they’re producing - instead of leaving customers frustrated with packaging they don’t want or need.
Join the Shoppers’ Revolt on Saturday 15th September,  and let’s show supermarkets that we have had enough of pointless plastic! Find out how you can join in:

Nearly 800,000 people like you have signed the petition, emailed supermarket CEOs and shared pictures of pointless plastic. But now it’s time to increase the pressure if we want supermarkets to change.
Lots of people who work in supermarkets have been in touch to tell us that they’re frustrated by the amount of packaging their employers produce. The people who are making the decisions about packaging aren’t the people working in our local supermarkets - it’s the big bosses who have the power to make change happen.
So we need to get the message through to them. That’s why we’re calling on shoppers around the country to take peaceful action in local stores and online. Click the button below for more info on how you can take part.
If lots of people take part on Saturday 15th September messages will start trickling back to supermarket HQs from stores around the country. Supermarkets care what their customers think - lots of people have a favourite store that they’ve been visiting for years, and supermarkets don’t want to lose that loyalty.
The more of us who get involved on the day, the stronger these messages will be - whether you choose to join a local Greenpeace group for your weekly shop, return your excess plastic packaging to Customer Services or get involved on social media.

Thanks for all you do,
