Save bees and farmers! Our fields and farms are being drenched in toxic chemicals from Bayer-Monsanto and Co. Bees and other pollinators are the ones paying the highest price. Why? Because the EU is holding back a bee-saving ban on dangerous pesticides.

BREAKING: Tomorrow EU Agriculture ministers are expected to sign off on their position on pesticides. We want to ensure that they stop reiterating that there is nothing wrong with harmful pesticides that threaten our health and the environment.

Hi Manfred,   BREAKING: Tomorrow EU agriculture ministers are expected to sign off on their position on pesticides. They must stop claiming that there is nothing wrong with harmful pesticides that threaten our health and the environment.    In May, the EU Commission strongly warned that EU governments are doing far too little to "reduce pesticide dependency" and to promote "non-chemical pest control" in agriculture. Their inaction is one of the reasons for a “substantial decline in biodiversity in agricultural ecosystems ”.[1]   Yet, despite this evidence, EU agriculture ministers keep ignoring the risks and dangers that toxic pesticides cause to the health of citizens, animals and our environment.   It is time to tell them enough is enough! If they see that a million people across Europe want them to act, they will have to listen to us. SIGN THE PETITION Ministers are parroting the chemical companies' empty rhetoric that pesticides are necessary with false claims about the economy and the environment. [2]   We're headed towards a climate disaster. What else do EU ministers need to know before they start acting on this?
