Hi
Manfred
The
conditions of animal transport in Europe are terrible!
Animals are forced to stand for hours and days in crowded trucks without food,
water and rest. They are often exposed to exhaustion, dehydration, injury, cold,
and even death.
This
happens to
over 360 million pigs, cattle, sheep and goats being transported within the
European Union every
year for slaughter, fattening and breeding.
The
time is running out and we need action against the countries that clearly
infringe animal rights. Already, more than 25,000 people have signed a petition
to end cruel animal transports in Europe. But
your signature is missing!
|
Soon
we’re getting the rare chance to hand
over this petition directly to the EU Inquiry Committee on Animal Transport
–
in charge of investigating violations of animal suffering during the
transportation of animals in the EU and beyond.
We
want our voice to be too loud for them to ignore - so we need your
signature!
Manfred,
will
you help reach 30,000 signatures before we meet the Inquiry
Committee? |
Thank you for
your support!
